I Am a Godly Father
I live a Godly life before my children. They know that I fear the Lord and seek to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. I do not provoke my children to wrath. I provide for my children what God has instructed me to give them. I do not hinder my children from following Christ. I honor my children by being kind and respectful to their mother. I show my children how they are to conduct themselves by the way I live my own life. I am a Godly father.
I Am a Godly Mother
I am a proverbs 31 mother. I look well to the ways of my household and do not eat the bread of idleness. My children arise and call me blessed. I do not spare the rod of correction to drive out folly, for I love my children. I dedicate my children to train them in the way that they should go, knowing that when they mature they will not depart from it. I walk in virtue and honor before my children as an example of how they should be. As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. I am a Godly mother.
A Prayer For Your Ghild
Dear God,
I thank you from the depths of my soul for giving me and entrusting me with this child to raise according to your will. I ask that you help me to be a better parent to my child. Give me wisdom and guidance as to how I should be raising and treating my child. Help me to get to know them better and to love them unconditionally as you do, Father. I ask that you keep them safe with a hedge of protection. I bind every demonic spirit that would come against my child. I cast down every sickness and disease Satan tries to afflict my child with. I pray for their future, that it be lead by you. I pray for their virtue, that it be kept pure. I pray for their future spouse, that they are growing up in
the Lord and their purity is kept. I pray that my child grows into a man/ woman of faith, honor and integrity. That they love you, God, with all of their heart, mind, soul, and strength. That they honor you in all that they do and that they do not cave into peer pressure. I pray that you help me to be a godly role model for my child. In Jesus name, Amen!!

My father used to Play with my brother and me in the yard. Mother would come out and say, “You’re tearing up the grass.” “We’re not raising grass,” Dad would reply. “We’re raising boys.” Harmon Killebrew
