All-natural, chemical free living

God made you beautiful and wonderful, both inside and out. You are the apple of His eye and joint heirs with Him to the throne of Grace. You are a daughter of the Most High King , the princess He died for. You are His and He is yours.

Isn’t all that so wonderfully romantic? Of, course. But, I know there are days, perhaps weeks, even months, where you don’t feel all that princess-like. With the stresses of everyday life, work, kids, church, who has time to look and feel like a beauty queen? Perhaps you are a bit of a tom-boy at heart and not quite into all this fairy-tale talk. Even so, isn’t it good to love and care for yourself? Yes! And I’m here to help make your day a little more beautiful, a little more natural, and hopefully, a little less stressful. I’ve done some research on natural, low-cost, homemade remedies and concoctions that are simple and easy to make and use at home. From hair gel to foot scrubs, foods that heal to music that soothes, I’m sure you will find something to suite your uniqueness. So, put down the broom, take the phone off the hook, and enjoy God’s little gifts from nature.

Laughter: The Best Medicine

Ecclesiastes 3 (KJV) “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence , and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”

Proverbs 15:13 (NAS) “A joyful heart makes a cheerful face, But when the heart is sad, the spirit is broken.”

Proverbs 17:22 (KJV) “A merry  heart  doeth good  like a medicine”

You may be in a season right now that doesn’t have much laughter. Perhaps you are in a season of weeping and mourning. If you are heartsick or lonely, then a good laugh would do you good. If you have lost your joy, then I hope this season will pass quickly for you. “How do I get my joy back?” True joy does not come from silly jokes, relationships, a career, money,or any of that stuff. True joy comes from following Jesus and the knowing that His returning is upon us. True joy comes from having a personal relationship with God and the knowing that your heavenly Father loves you so very much. If you are not happy on the inside, don’t look to outside sources to make you happy, look to the source only God can provide. The joy of the Lord is your strength.
